Mandeep Dillon is an artist and filmmaker. She has made documentaries and experimental films for television, charities and film festivals. This includes work focusing on some of the most troubled parts of the world including Bosnia, Rwanda and Palestine.

The filmmaking experiences inform the artwork which is both abstract and visceral. A theme is appropriated then researched and explored to the point of saturation. The process is arduous and repetitive whilst the subject is atomised. From a distance the viewer will see an innocuous pattern on closer inspection another, sometimes less innocuous layer is visible.

Moving Wall Sculptures

When hung above a source of warm air such as a radiator, the moving wall sculptures flicker to create patterns, reflections and sometimes sound.

Commissions

Commissions are undertaken for individual clients, interior designers and architects. These paintings are designed to work in specific light and spatial conditions. Please contact mad@md-art.co.uk for details.

Mandeep Dillon has worked with interior designer Carolyn Parker www.carolynparker.com for several years and has painted commissions for some high profile clients. She also has work in private collections in the UK, France and Portugal and will shortly have work on display with a luxury retailer in New York.
